My Prelude has been so good to me, in spite of all the rough treatment it's endured over the last five years. I still think it's one of the most beautiful cars out there, and I'd recommend it to anyone in the market for a used Honda. So many good memories in that ride. Road trips to Vegas and the Bay, hot boxing her incessantly in college, driving excitedly to the SB massives, driving back in the horrid light of a partied-out dawn... man. I love that car.
Seriously, if you live in LA your car is like your second home, no? For some it's just a way to get from point A to point B, but for the lucky ones like me its one of your greatest material assets, a tangible reminder that life has been very good to me and that I should think twice before I start complaining about anything.
While my car was in the shop, I got to rent a Mercedes C240 and drive that baby around. That too is a sweet ride. You don't feel like you're driving on the road, it's more like you're floating through mid-air on some very smooth, very responsive cloud. It was nice, and I would have loved to keep it but I don't think I've moved that high up in the social ladder to buy a Benz.
My dad and I shopped around for a new car while the Honda was being repaired, and I had my hopes set on the G35, the 325ci or the Audi A4, but most people know I had my heart set on the Audi. So anyway, my dad was really sweet and bought me the Audi. It's so pretty!!! I am now part of the German car league.
Man, the interior amenities are crazy! 6 CD-changer in the dash. Where do the CD's go? I don't know. Do you? Aghh! Dual climate control, bc some of us like it hot... hehehehehe. Pearly denim blue paint and 17" sport wheels. A hidden compartment under the driver's seat to hide any number of secret stashes!
Drun roll please! (and now for the unveiling...)
