Can't believe I had to wake up at six thirty this morning. I was unusually energetic however, because it was my first day of orientation at SCCO. Nothing more unusual than a case of the first-day-of-school jitters, which I've been through countless times already. I didn't know who would be there, if I would like them or they would like me. But luckily my jitters turned out to be no more than groundless paranoid fears as the faculty and students were all very nice and easy to get along with. It's nerve wracking stepping into the next stage of life. You don't know the brand new things that will fall into your lap, or even the sorts of things that will eventually slip away from you. Hopefully it all makes for an experience that chisels you into a wiser person.
